This image is of a mouse character I'm illustrating in a children's book. For the author, I made this image as a surprise for the 4th. Made in Illustrator, I added the canvas because I love texture and just felt the figure was strong enough to have this extra push. I'm trying to not use textures to hide my crappy work anymore, which was a bad habit. Comments and critique welcome! I'd especially like to know how my color choices work, I'm put a lot of thought into whats modern and sensible together.
